Come see me this weekend as I will have a booth at the Kansas City Wedding Guide Bridal Show at Union Station on Sunday January 29th from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tickets are $10.00 for buy one get one (Basically $5.00 each) but you need to buy them on-line to get that price. Click here for more info. Also, I have a few free passes to the show. If you are planning a wedding and want to attend let me know and I’ll hook you up. I hope to see you there!
I will be the emcee at the Improv this Wednesday evening (12/7) as my friend Devin Henderson will perform his Mind Madness show. It is a combination of mind reading and comedy. I will open the show with my comedy magic. The show starts at 7:30 and admission is $10.00. You must be 18 years of age or older for this show. For more info click here. So come on out to the Improv on 12/7 and get ready to laugh, be amazed and in general, have a great time! I hope to see you there!
On April 16th I was pleased and honored to be a part of Giggle with Gilda, a fundraiser sponsored by Gilda’s Club of Kansas City. Gilda’s Club is a cancer support foundation named in honor of the late Gilda Radner (best known from her work in the early days of Saturday Night Live) who died from Cancer in 1989. For more info you can go to their website at http://www.gildasclubkc.org/
The event was held at the Midland Theater and the show was put on by the Second City Touring Company with special guest Jason Sudeikis. Jason is currently in his 6th season of Saturday Night Live but he is also known for his work on the big screen in movies such as Hall Pass, The Bounty Hunter and What Happens In Vegas. The show was a combination of sketch comedy and improvisation and it was a hoot. Performing along with Jason were, Warren Phynix Johnson, Kevin Sciretta, Derek Shipman, Andel Sudik and Natalie Sullivan. Remember these names as you might just see them on SNL some day soon. They were all very talented and hilarious. I honestly thought the sketches were much better than what you see on SNL. Just my opinion.
After the show some of the crowd migrated to the VIP room for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. That’s where I came in. I roamed among the crowd amazing and amusing the guests. It was a great night and if everyone had half as much fun as I did I think we can call it a success.
I am attaching some pictures of Jason Sudeikis and me. He seemed like a nice guy at first then he got really angry. He might be bi-polar. You be the judge.
